Betty Ann Novovesky of Bloomington, Indiana went to be with her Lord on May 2, 2022. Born on September 20th sometime in the first half of the 20th century, Betty spent her childhood between Paterson, New Jersey where she was born and Kingsley, Pennsylvania where she spent many happy days with her relatives there.
She later moved to Binghamton, New York where she began her career as an executive secretary. She was a single mom to Linda until 1970 when she met widower, Florian Novovesky, who had six children of his own. Their adventure began in July 1971 and what an adventure it was! During their 43 years together, in addition to raising seven children, they traveled a lot, ran a variety of businesses, golfed, partied and danced with their many friends. Betty was known lovingly by her children as "The Queen", but she knew she was blessed and expressed that often to family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband Florian and her parents William and Ruby Matthews.
She is survived by her children, Daniel Novovesky (Denoya), Linda Teising (John), Mary Pellegrino, Susan Ryan-Bisig, Marcia Smith (Kenny), Lorinda Hixon (David), and Theresa Shenk (Philip), 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, her bonus family-the Ehmke's, her special blessing, Margaret Raymond Driscoll and many friends and family members who loved her and will miss her beautiful smile.
