Betty Louise Molitoris of Alpharetta, GA passed away to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 14, 2022. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Albert J. Molitoris and her daughter-in-law, Barbara Crute Molitoris. She is survived by her two sons, David (Sandi) Molitoris of Kansas City, MO and Eric (Bren) Molitoris of Alpharetta, GA, grandchildren Drew (Cassie) Molitoris of Overland Park, KS, Erin Molitoris of Nashville, TN and Taylor Molitoris of Birmingham, AL and great-grandchildren, Harper and Dane Molitoris of Overland Park, KS.
Betty was born in Centerville PA on March 30, 1923 to Wasko and Anna Slusarczyk, the youngest of 5 daughters. The family moved to Cleveland, OH when Betty was 4 and changed their last name to Slusher to a more American sounding name. Betty and AJ were married in Florence, SC where AJ was a member of the Army Air Corp (later became the Air Force).
Betty will be remembered for her love for God and for people - especially family. She was very generous with her time and her finances, and enjoyed doing for family and friends. Later in life she especially enjoyed playing cards with her great-grandchildren.
The family held a private ceremony at the burial site at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, GA. The family wishes to thank Hospice and The Oaks Assisted Living in Alpharetta, GA for their great care of Betty this last year.
