KAMINSKI, Betty Marie – of Attica, MI, formerly of Davison, MI, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 28, 2018.
Betty was born in Detroit, MI on December 3, 1927, daughter of the late Sherman and Ruth (Adams) Clark. She was married to the late Frank Kaminski on April 13, 1956 and they shared 33 years together until his death in 1989. Betty loved spending time with family and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She also loved to travel to places as far away as Alaska, Hawaii and New Zealand. One of Betty’s biggest passions was Bingo and she was known as 'Bingo Betty.'
She was a member of the F.O.E. and also a member of the U.A.W. Betty was the first female skilled trades worker at Fisher Body Coldwater Road as a Pipefitter. She was able to spend the last several years with her grandson, Terry and his wife, Liz, where she able to go on numerous camping trips and outings. Unfortunately, she was ultimately moved to Lapeer Medical Care Facility (Suncrest) when her dementia and health conditions were beyond Terry and Liz’s ability to care for her. Read more.
