Betty Lou Pearson passed away at the age of 86 on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Seattle. Betty Lou was born on August 2, 1935 in Granite Falls, WA to Michael M. and Amelia (Rhode) Bauer.
On August 14, 1953, Betty Lou married Wayne G. Pearson in Port Townsend, WA.
She was a stay at home mother of four, devoting her time and love to her household and family. She enjoyed being outdoors, whether she was gardening, traveling, camping or spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing, making home crafted gifts and canning. Most important to her was spending time with grandkids and great-grandkids crafting, baking and gardening.
Betty is survived by her four children, Nancy (Tom) Bailey, Karen (Bud) Atkins, Diane (Terry) McDonald and David (Tamie) Pearson; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; her brother William "Bill" Bauer, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Wayne G. Pearson; her mother Amelia (Rhode) Bauer, father Michael M. Bauer Sr.; numerous brothers, sisters and extended family members. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the North County Regional Fire/EMS (Arlington) or Charity of your choice.
