Mrs. Betty Marie Kisner, 77, of Frederick, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2018 at Kline Hospice House, surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of James Kisner, Sr., her husband of 58 years.
Born in Gaithersburg, Betty was the daughter of the late Sam and Katherine Carter. She and James lived in Gaithersburg and Boyds for many years before moving to the Frederick area.
In addition to her devoted husband, Mrs. Kisner is survived by two children, James Kisner, Jr. & wife Christina, and Steven Kisner & wife Lauren; four grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Ryan, and Antonio; and several siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
Visitation will take place on Friday, November 16th from 11:00 AM - 12 :00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy., in Frederick, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM. Foot procession and entombment will follow at the Chapel Mausoleum at Resthaven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
