Betty Jo Hall, age 80, of, Mason, Texas passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Fredericksburg, Texas. Betty Jo was born December 15, 1941 in Corpus Christi, Texas to John William Hall and Hildred Mae (Prater) Hall. When she was younger, Betty Jo was an Aquarena Mermaid, singer, horse rider and Queen of the Silver Dollar. She was an avid gardener, reader and genealogy historian. She was also a gamer, loved pets and nature, especially flowers and humming birds. As an Air Force wife she traveled from Istanbul to North Dakota to the Carolinas. She lived in San Marcos and Austin for several years before moving to Mason, where she has lived for the last 22 years.

Betty Jo Hall is survived by her ex-husband Jesse DeLaRosa of San Marcos, Texas; daughters DeAnna Holmes McConnell of Ingleside, Texas, Jessica DeLaRosa of Mason, Texas, Rachel DeLaRosa of San Marcos, Texas and Jesse's daughter Cecilia DeLaRosa of San Marcos, Texas; sister Nancy Hall Hutzler; grandchildren Hope Sandoval and Joshua DeLaRosa and great-grandson Dante' Sandoval. She is also survived by her beloved pets, "Chula", "Charlene" and "Flora". She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donn V.
