It is with profound sadness that the family of Betty Lou Granados, announce her passing surrounded by her loved ones on January 20, 2026. Betty was affectionally known as: "Mimi," "Grandma Bob," "Drive by Betty," and her personal favorite "Champagne Betty."
Betty was born in San Antonio Texas to Emma and Robert Sosa Cardenas on August 17, 1945. A proud graduate of Providence Catholic College Preparatory School for Girls in San Antonio.
She went on to marry Ray Granados and have four beautiful children; Louanna, Leticia, Lisa, and Anthony Granados. Betty lived an adventurous life leaving her home state of Texas to live in Orange County California with her loving husband. After having her two eldest daughters in California she once again relocated to San Antonio. Betty and her family then made their final move to Conroe Texas. Betty's time spent in Conroe proved to be an exciting place to raise her children. While living in River Plantation she enjoyed playing tennis, riding horses, and having pool parties with family and friends. She traveled widely for work and was able to see almost all 50 states. She enjoyed taking trips to tropical locations, Disney, and the casino with her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents Emma and Robert, Uncle Nick, her brother Robert, her loving husband Ray Granados, and son Anthony.
She is survived by her loving children: Louanna, Leticia, and Lisa. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness with her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe with Father Christopher Plant officiating. A Rosary will be cited on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 6:00 pm in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors. Betty will be laid to rest in a private family interment at Garden Park cemetery.
