Garcia, Bernice January 9, 1930 - July 17, 2022 Our Beloved Mother, Bernice Garcia who was a long time resident of Southwest Denver went to her eternal rest on Sunday July 17th at 1:45 pm. She was born in Salida, Colorado on Thursday, January 9th, 1930. Her parents were Joe Adrian Martinez and Delpha Martinez. Bernice married Augustine Garcia on August 25, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah. At the time of Augustine's death in 2001, they were married six months shy of their 50th wedding anniversary. Bernice is survived by her three children, Cindy, Gary and Patrick. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jenessa, Kelly, Michael, Max and Daniel. Surviving great grandchildren include Kayden, Madison, Austin, Maya, Brady, Will and Ava Rose. She is also survived by 3 siblings include Ruby, Rosie and Dave. She is preceded in death by brothers Albert (Tito) and Larry. Both rosary and funeral services for Bernice will be held at All Saints Catholic Church located at 2559 S. Federal Blvd. The Rosary will take place on Friday, July 22nd at 7:15 p.m. and funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 23 at 1:00 pm.
