Bernard R. "Buzz" Kornmann, age 84, of Faribault, died Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Homestead Hospice House, Owatonna. Buzz touched many lives and was a gracious and Godly man.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Faribault. Interment will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Princeton later that day.
Visitation and reception will be held after the services at the church.
Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.
Bernard Ray, the son of Julius and Mildred (Kimling) Kornmann was born on October 7, 1934 in Princeton. Buzz graduated from Princeton High School and University of Minnesota Ag School. He married Nancy C. Gustafson on June 25, 1955 at Temple Baptist Church, Brainerd and she preceded him in death on November 4, 2018. He was formerly employed by his family business, Princeton Mill and Elevator, Cargill Feed Division as a field manager, Quali-Tech Products as a salesman and Jerome Foods/Jennie-O Turkey Store as a feed mill manager until his retirement.
Buzz is survived by two daughters, Julie Turtle of Rochester and Deb (and Mark) Anderson of Robbinsdale; three grandchildren James Turtle (and Sherry Wegner), Nick Arend of Rochester and Scott Anderson of Robbinsdale; one great-grandson, David Turtle; step great granddaughters, Bryana (and Austin) and Chasity; step great-great granddaughters, Annabelle and Briella; other relatives; and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; his parents; and two sisters, Joyce May Edmonds and Grace Terry.
