Belinda Power

Belinda Sue Power, a loving wife, mother, and sister, passed away at the age of 57 on December 16, 2021, in Fort Collins, CO. She is survived by her husband of 36 years Ray Power, sons Jonathan Power (Calla) and Jacob Power, and father Robert Miner. Preceding her in death was her mother Bobby Scott (nee Looney) and brother Terry Miner.

A 27-year resident of Laramie, WY, Belinda was born on August 25, 1964, in Coffeyville, KS. She graduated from Wann High School and Tri County Tech in Oklahoma before marrying Ray in 1985. Following the births of Jonathan and Jacob, they moved the family to Wyoming in 1994. Belinda worked for many years with the Pinedale Natural Gas Company, serving as the gas operator for the small town of Walden, CO. In 2012, she was diagnosed with cancer, which she battled off and on successfully until her death. In 2017, she gained a daughter-in-law when Jonathan and Calla were married in a beautiful ceremony at Ray and Belinda's home. Later that year Belinda fulfilled lifelong dreams of skydiving and whitewater rafting. She was a woman of many interests who enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, canning, and shopping.

Although Belinda was perhaps best known for her wonderful smile, she will also be remembered fondly for her endearing sarcasm, penchant for laughter, and love for the Lord. Her unwavering faith in Christ inspired so many who knew and loved her. Her family rejoices in knowing that she's now singing and dancing with her Father in Heaven.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life Service for Belinda at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Snowy Range Evangelical Free Church in Laramie (2552 North 15th Street). After the service, there will be a BBQ and fellowship reception across town at Trinity Baptist Church (1270 North 9th Street). We look forward to sharing many wonderful memories of such a special lady!
