EUNICE~It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Becky Lantz Brunet announces her passing in the morning of June 09, 2022 at Southwind Healthcare & Rehabilitation at the age of 72. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sensat, Celebrant.
Becky was born on August 27, 1949 to Martin and Hazel Smith Lantz in Eunice. She was a veteran and served her country proudly in the United States Airforce. Becky was a retired bus driver for St. Landry Parish School Board as well as being involved with the Cursillo in Prairie Ronde. She loved camping and spending time with her family. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her especially her husband of forty -nine years, Michael Brunet of Eunice; daughter, Amy Miller and husband, Doug of Eunice; sister, Patsy Marie Lantz of Eunice; two grandchildren, Sebastian May and Hope May both of Eunice; godchild, Kellie Fruge Shipp and husband, Danny of Sunset; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Hope Brunet.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, June 11th from 8:00 am until 10:45 am.
