Bartholomew Joseph Frazzitta, 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 due to complications of Parkinson's disease and Dementia.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Anastasia Frazzitta.
Beloved husband of Gerry of 47 years, cherished step-father of Robert Gordon Davis, US Air Force Ret. and Brett (Tomomi) Davis; brother Joseph (Kathleen) Frazzitta; sister AnnMarie (Robert) Maiello; and many nieces and nephews.
In his youth, through high school and college, he was sought after by professional baseball teams and was inducted in to the College Baseball Hall of Fame.
Retired after 33 years from Diebold Security Division. Bart joined Diebold in 1972 as a sales representative and advanced through the company to Vice President of Security Products. While at Diebold Bart managed the installation of security solutions that now safeguard the nation's Charters of Freedom - the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights at the National Archives Building and the Hope Diamond at the Smithsonian Institute.
Bart was an active supporter of Victory Gallop, a therapeutic horse-riding academy for children with physical and emotional challenges, and One of a Kind Pet Rescue. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either of these organizations.
The family would like to express its sincere appreciation to the nurses and aides of Renaissance assisted living, Richfield/Bath, Ohio, and Western Reserve Hospice.
Cremation has taken place with a private family inurnment. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
