BARBARA TWITCHELL, BARBARA TWITCHELL, Barbara Ann Haren Twitchell, 91, of Avon passed away May 24, 2020, in Florida. She was the wife of Lee G. Twitchell, who preceded her in death March 6, 2009.
Barbara was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Ray W. Haren and Ethel Dill Haren. She was the niece of the late Helen D. Schwarz, the sister of the late Jack H. Haren and the stepdaughter of the late Elsie D. Haren. She was a longtime secretary at Hillard Elementary School in Westlake and a volunteer at Fairview Hospital and The Gathering Place.
Barbara is survived by her son, Thomas D. Twitchell of Gainesville, Florida, and her daughters, Anne E. Uber (Richard) of Leesburg, Florida, and Karen L. Hull (Matthew) of Clifton, Virginia. She also is survived by three grandchildren (Lee Uber, Laura Uber Barbato and Ross Uber), two great-grandchildren (Sophie and Oliver) and nieces, nephews and friends.
Barbara and her husband Lee will be interred at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a future date.
