Barbara K. Taylor

Barbara K. Crabtree Velten Taylor66 passed away December 21, 2020 at the Whitesburg ARH Hospital. She had been in declining health over the late years. Born August 4, 1954 in Columbus, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Kermit "Joe" and Lola (Keene) Crabtree. She grew up in Sellersburg, Indiana and was a 1972 graduate of Silver Creek High School and a 1975 graduate of Louisville Baptist School of Nursing. She had made her home in Red Fox, Kentucky for the last 30 years. She is survived by her sons: Erik (Jessica) Velten of Henryville, Indiana, Trevor Velten of Red Fox, Kentucky and Brennan Taylor of Omaha, Nebraska. Also surviving are her granddaughters: Natalie, Emma, and Claire Velten of Henryville, Indiana and her sister: Joyce Hawkins of Columbia City, Indiana. She is also survived by many cousins, special cousin Jennifer Sanders, Ocala, Florida. Due to Covid there will be no service at this time.
