Barbara Johnston was born December 12, 1939 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Otis and Velma (Jones) Clark. She passed from this life Saturday, June 10, 2023 in Wichita Falls at the age of 83. Barbara was a 1959 graduate of Waurika High School. She and Bill J. Johnston were married October 31, 1959 in Byers, Texas. To this union was born 4 daughters -Suzie, Karen, LeaAnn, and Karla.
She loved to cook and bake but mostly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. She was a member of the Waurika church of Christ and also taught Sunday School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, son- in-law Steve Bradford, sister Bobbie Kittrell, and brothers Billy and Benny.
She is survived by her 4 daughters Suzie Chambers and husband Billy, Karen Lopez and husband Al, LeaAnn Bradford, and Karla Parker and husband Bryan, 7 granddaughters and 15 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10:00AM at Ryan Cemetery with Steve Tyler officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home.
