Barbara Jean Howard Cannon, 55, a beloved mother and the wife of Freddie Lee Cannon, Jr., departed this life Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at her residence.
Mrs. Cannon was born the daughter of Cecil Frank Howard and Janie Isbell Knight Howard on May 23, 1964 in Andrews. She was a 1982 graduate of Andrews High School and was a Librarian for the Georgetown County School District. She attended the Oak Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, caring sister, and a loyal friend.
She is survived by: her husband; two children, Kelli Lockliear (Cecil) and Lee Cannon (Kaitlyn); loved as her own, Lucas Williams and Kristen Williams; five grandchildren, Cannon, Kalianna, Marley, Joseph Lee, and Cayden; two brothers, Jimmy Howard (Leslie) and Joey Howard (Joni); numerous nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.
She was predeceased by: her parents; her in-laws, Freddie Lee Cannon, Sr. (Hattie Adell Hewitt).
A Celebration of Life Service will be 2PM, Friday, April 17, 2020 at Oak Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be Rev. Stan Wilson and Rev. Tommy Cox.
