Barbara S. Heffner, 84, of Dillsburg passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021, at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
She was born September 2, 1936, in Carlisle the daughter of the late Everett and Georgia (Spade) Sillers.
Barbara was the widow of Richard L. Heffner, Sr.
She was a member of Harmony Church, Dillsburg and enjoyed music, going to Camp Yolijwa and Doublng Gap Center, Newville. Barbara also enjoyed attending the Hershey Theater to see the Celtic Thunder.
Barbara is survived by two sons, John E. Minich of Mechanicsburg, David E. Heffner of Harrisburg; two daughters, Barbara Jo Punda of Camp Hill, Tobyann E. Curry of Dillsburg; two step-sons, Robert A. Heffner of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Jeffrey G. Heffner of Sarasota, FL; one step-daughter, LuAnn E. Blazer of Dillsburg; one sister, Martha Fulton of Carlisle; two brothers, Everett Sillers of Catonsville, MD, William Sillers of Pittsburgh; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Minich; a step-son, Richard L. Heffner, Jr.; a grandson, Brady Minich; and two sisters, Evelyn Ruegg and Linda Betton.
Services will be held Friday, June 4, 2021, at 2:00 pm in Harmony Church, 1 Clear Springs Rd., Dillsburg, PA. A viewing will be held Friday from 1-2 pm at the church. Burial will be held in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road.
