Barbara Branch Brooks, 60, of Albany, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2022, in the Evergreen Cemetery in Worth County, with Joseph W. Jones officiating. Born November 10, 1961, in Savannah, Barbara was the daughter of the late Allen Artis Branch and Joyce Strenth Branch. She was disabled most of her life but did not allow that to stop her from living her life to the fullest. She loved her family and friends and was Baptist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell C. Brooks, and brother, Al Branch.
Survivors include her sister, Donna Hall of Albany; stepchildren, Leslie Books Tibbs of Savannah, and Shawna Brooks Defoor of Atlanta; nephews, Kyle Hall, and Rodney Branch; and step grandchildren, Logan Norris, Robert Wise, and Leevi Wise, Kaycee Defoor, and Emilee Defoor.
