Topeka--Azariah James Walthall, 30, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at his home in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on December 26, 1990 in Joplin, Missouri, the son of Robert and Gayle Parsons Walthall.
Azariah lived in Neosho, Missouri until age 6 and then moved with his family to Carbondale, Kansas. He had lived in Topeka for the last several years.
Azariah graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School in 2009 and had worked at Target Distribution in Topeka as a manager.
Azariah is survived by Krissy Terry and his daughter, Jocelyn Gayle Walthall of the home; his parents, Robert and Gayle Walthall of Scranton; his sister, Christal Wallace of Nampa, Idaho; his maternal grandparents, Jeanette and George Burgess of Neosho, Missouri and his paternal grandparents, James and Cheryl Walthall of Joplin, Missouri.
Funeral services for Azariah will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, March 20 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon, Kansas. On Friday, March 19, Azariah will lie in state from 4:00 to 6:30pm and the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00pm. Cremation will follow the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jocelyn Walthall Education Fund, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS. 66451.
