Ayron Smith
Help us celebrate Ayron! Please share your stories and photos, and invite others who remember Ayron.
Ayron Smith, much-loved husband, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home January 15, 2021. He was born in Concord, NH on July 6, 1966 and grew up in Bow, graduating from Concord High School. He was an auto body repair specialist for many years and, most recently, owned and operated All Right Builders, after he moved to Columbia in 2019.
Ayron loved snowmobiling, grooming, four-wheeling, and tinkering with motors. He enjoyed leading a pack of riders in any season, and could be found in the middle of a group of friends, listening to music, comparing 'rides,' and telling stories beside the trail. He also loved the beach in the off-season with the love of his life, Jen, where they would listen to and watch waves, and walk the beach looking for sand dollars - he had a special eye for finding them.
He was 'Grumpa' to Anna, Chase, Gavin and Bennett; and a second grandpa to any child he encountered. He delighted in joining them for a wagon or tricycle ride, or offering his lap and a story by the campfire. He was a friend to all - whether you were a new acquaintance or were friends for years. Ayron dropped whatever he was doing to help a friend in need and would do anything for anybody. His best friend was his dad, Vern, and they were always there for each other.
Ayron leaves behind his wife, Jen; father, Vern; daughter Katrina White (fianc? Brad) and four grandchildren (Anna, Chase, Gavin and Bennett); son Codi; sisters Kathy Cleveland (husband Don) and Jeannine Richard (husband Glen); as well as a beloved niece Rayann Dionne (husband Justin), and their children (Brindle and Blake). He was pre-deceased by his mother, Sandra, in 2018.
Burial will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Boscawen with a private graveside service, due to Covid. In lieu of flowers, please consider helping Jen with expenses (GoFundMe 'Remembering Ayron Smith'), donating to a charity of your choice in Ayron's name, or simply drinking a Michelob Light by a campfire and thinking of him. He will be missed by many. The Wendell J. Butt Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
