Alwilda Frances (Snider) Harding, 92, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday,
October 16, 2019 at her residence.
She was born in Hancock County on January 13, 1927, one of twelve daughters
born to Earl & Daisy (Wilson) Snider. She married Chet Harding on May 24, 1945
and he preceded her on November 8, 1996.
Survivors include children John Harding (wife Janice) of Shelbyville, Bill Harding
(wife Elaine) of Westfield, Janice Kuhn (husband Bruce) of Waldron, Richard Harding
of Columbus, Mona Spalding (husband Dan) of Shelbyville, Mike Harding (wife Beth)
of St. Paul; sisters Vivian Walker (husband Bill) of Greenfield, Jean Robinson of Dayton,
Tennessee, June Browning (husband Fred) of Mt. Summit; brother-in-law Elmer Logan
of New Castle; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, sisters Kathryn Gray, Beulah
Hess, Mary Caudill, Judy Baldock, Carolyn Monroe, Ann Logan, Gladys Snider, Mildred
Snider; grandson Benjamin Harding and granddaughter Rachel Harding.
For the past 10 years she had been lovingly cared for by her grandson and granddaughter-
in-law Ed and Jamie Kuhn and family. They would also like to thank great granddaughter-in-law
Brooke Duvelius for her loving care.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Lewis Creek Baptist Church,
1400 E. 600 S. Waldron, IN 46182, with Pastors Harvey Taylor and Cliff Bunch officiating. Burial
will be in Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be observed on Sunday afternoon from
3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the church.
Memorial contributions can be made to OUR Hospice of South Central Indiana, or the Lewis
Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
