Aurelia Connie Carrillo Martinez "Queenie" due to natural causes our beautiful Mom/Nana went to be with our Lord and Savior at the well lived age of 83 on February 28, 2021. She was born and raised in Oxnard, CA.
A devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and nana. She worked for Stanley and Head Start Preschool, but what she loved doing most was caring for and feeding her family and loved ones. She was a selfless soul who sought out ways to do for others.
She volunteered countless hours as a Spanish translator, helping those in need of assistance understanding and completing documents all while still preparing everyone's favorite meals.
She will be remembered for always being one of the first ones to call everyone on their birthday. She had a heart of gold, a smile that would light up any room, and a laughter that was contagious.
She was Vicente Fernandez's #1 fan and loved singing and dancing especially to Mariachi. Don't let her petite stature fool you she had the most energetic GRITO right along with the best of them!
The matriarch of our family; she built and leaves behind an amazing legacy and she will be missed beyond measure.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elijio & Encarnacion Carrillo, her brother Armando Carrillo, her sons Fidel Jr. & Andy Garcia, and the love of her life Roberto Martinez. She leaves behind her children Dianne, Cody (wife Mary), Vickie, Bobby, and Rita (husband Jaime). Her brothers Larry (Della), Licho (Gloria), Lupe (Carmen) along with 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
