Audrey Kay Siecko Sprague, formerly of Edna, currently of Leander, Texas, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She left this world suddenly and went to be with the Lord on her 67th birthday; Saturday, August 27th, 2022 in Leander, Texas, where she has lived for the past 6 years. Audrey was born to the late Halton and Mary Kutchka Siecko on Saturday, August 27, 1955 in Yoakum, Texas. After graduating from Yoakum High School, Audrey studied nursing and married the love of her life, Hardy Sprague, whom she met while at the Bluebonnet Youth Ranch. Together they were married 47 years and had three children and 9 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, hardy Sprague and their children, Sara (Christopher) Tupa, Andrew (Jessica) Sprague, and Aaron Sprague, her grandchildren; Colton Sprague, Kyle Sprague, Katelyn Sprague, Karleigh Sprague, Ariana Tupa, Rylan Tupa, TJ Lozano, Alana Lozano and McKenzie Lewis; her siblings, Arthur Ray (Diane) Siecko, Sandra Patterson, Elaine (David) James, and Michael Siecko; countless nieces, nephews and cousins; she is preceded in death by her parents, and sister Bonnie Siecko. Audrey spent her life tending to and taking care of the needs of her many hospice patients and their families. She was know as an angel in her chosen field, and her smile would light up any room. It takes a very special person to care for others in their worst time of need and she had a special gift for it. In her free time, she loved to go RV camping, working in the yard with all her many beautiful plants, and fishing, Audrey could out fish us all, any day. She will be forever missed by all who knew her and loved her. Pallbearers will be; David James, Kody Salles, Christopher Tupa, Jesse James, Skylar James and Jayden James. Visitation and Funeral Services were held on Thursday, September 1st beginning at 2:00 pm, with 3:00 pm Funeral Service and Interment followed at Speaks Cemetery.
