Arthur (Brad) Doughty, age 89, passed away on October 18, 2022. He was born on May 16, 1933 to Arthur Berrie and Katherine Virginia Doughty in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was raised in Daytona Beach, Florida and graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1950. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict.
Arthur was employed by NASA as a master electrician working at Cape Canaveral in Florida. He enjoyed fishing and will always be remembered for his love of laughter, quiet nature, sense of adventure, service in the community, and devotion to family.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents Arthur Berrie and Katherine Virginia Merry Doughty, and his son Larry Doughty. He is survived by his children Doug, Jeff, Debbie, and Michael all of Florida, his sister Katherine (Ron) Pickett of Corpus Christi, and niece Pam (Edward) Cantu of Corpus Christi. He was a Mason and a member IBEW.
An inurnment will be held at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
