Arthur B. "Tim" Churchill, Jr., 75 died Saturday, December 12, 2020 at his home with his wife and son by his side after a brave battle with renal failure and heart disease.
He was born July 16, 1945 in Randolph, VT the son of Arthur and Louise (Boles) Churchill. He attended school in South Royalton, VT.
On June 18, 1965 he married Lucille Dolan in Enosburg, VT. They lived most of their married life in South Royalton where they raised their son.
Tim started milking cows for his grandparents at the age of 14. He also worked 12 years for Green Mountain Swift Home in South Royalton, 5 years at Davis Alterations of Pomfret, VT, 12 years for Trumball Nelson Construction of Hanover, NH, 4 years at Densmore Brick Company in Lebanon, NH before starting his own business, Tim Churchill Remodeling which he ran for 25 years.
He was a member of the Tri-Town Trail Travelers Snowmachine Club and the National Rifle Association.
He enjoyed deer hunting, reloading ammunition, fishing and doing odd jobs for people
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lucille Churchill and a son Edward Churchill both of South Royalton; a grandson Timothy Churchill; 2 great grandsons Alexander Churchill and Isaac Byron Churchill who was born December 13, 2020; 2 stepsons Michael Alger and Nathan Alger; a brother Scott Churchill of South Royalton and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Clarence Churchill and a sister Mary Jane Ladue.
A celebration of his life will be held next summer.
