Art "Sonny" Greenlaw

Art "Sonny" Greenlaw, 76, of Wallingford, beloved husband of Joyce (Mogob) Greenlaw, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born on May 18, 1946 in Presque Isle, Maine, he was a son of the late Arthur and Eva Greenlaw. Art worked as a real estate appraiser for over 35 years, and enjoyed traveling the state in search of new food spots to try; he also enjoyed boating, golf, pool and playing cards at the Italian Club and Grand Central in recent years. Art loved to spend time with family and friends, and everyone that knew him will remember his hearty laugh, his sense of humor and his generosity. The highlight of his later years was spent on the sidelines, watching his grandchildren complete on the athletic field. In addition to his beloved wife, Joyce, Art is survived by his children, Charles Greenlaw of Meriden, Jason Greenlaw and his wife, Christa of Wallingford and Carrie Tetreault and her husband, Carl of Wallingford; his grandchildren, Sophie, Aubree, Brayden and Ethan; his brother, Danny Greenlaw of Torrington; his nephews, Sean Greenlaw and Eric Greenlaw; as well as numerous extended family members and many cherished friends. Art's family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., on Saturday, November 12th from 10:00am - 12:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 in the funeral home's chapel. Interment in St. John Cemetery will immediately follow.
