Arnold "Arnie" Lloyd Quave, Jr., 63, of Vidor, passed away on July 21, 2021, in Beaumont.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Turning Point Church in Vidor.
An additional memorial service will be held on August 28, 2021, in his hometown of D'Iberville, Mississippi. Time and place will be announced at a later date on Facebook.
Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, on May 8, 1958, he was the son of Arnold Quave, Sr. and Barbara (Bellais) Quave. Arnie worked for several years as a boat captain, and took great pride in his hard work. He adored his grandchildren and was as involved as he could be. His grandchildren each held a special place in his heart, Knox being his miniature best friend, loving to watch Hagen's sports, and Charlie Ann was his little doll. Arnie loved being surrounded by his family and his favorite memories of his childhood were riding horses, fishing, and running around with his sisters and cousins. He loved all sports but held a special appreciation for the Astros, Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, LSU & Auburn. Arnie loved fishing and cooking his famous seafood etouffee. He will be deeply missed by all those he crossed paths with.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Barbara Quave.
He is survived by his daughter, Olivia Allen and husband Hunter; grandchildren, Hagen, Knox and Charlie Ann of Vidor; sisters, Deborah Bellais Drieling, Penny Quave Endris, Cynthia Quave Battaga, and Sharon Diane Westbrook; special nieces and nephews, Rachel Leornas and husband Donnie, Kristi Adams and husband Bill, Stacy, Bud and Jeff; great nieces and great nephews, Takara, Donnie, Vivian, Morgan and Miriam; stepdaughters, Kathryn Meszewski and husband Arthur of Wisconsin, Karrie Talbott and husband Shane of Edgewood, Texas; step-grandchildren, Billy, Brendan, Breanne, Bess, Emily, Victoria, and Serah; and best friend & cousin, David Moran; and many other loving family and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Simple Tributes by Claybar.
