Arlys L. Heddan, age 81, of Maple Grove, MN passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Caley House assisted living facility in Princeton, MN from complications of COPD. She was born October 20, 1943 in Bemidji, MN and graduated from Bemidji High school in 1961.
Arlys was one of four children born to Eddie and Ragna Olson. After high school she moved to St. Paul and lived in an apartment with friends. She met and married Milo Heddan in 1963. They built a home in Maple Grove where they raised three children and lived there for 49 years. Arlys had a passion for genealogy. She enjoyed a good cup of coffee, visiting with family and friends, and spending time at the cabin.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Milo Heddan; son, Jeffrey Heddan; parents, Eddie and Ragna Olson (Iverson); siblings, Elvin Olson, Arlene Johnson and Roger Olson.
She is survived by her daughters, Stacey Heddan and Stephanie Krone-Gloe (Jerry Gloe); grandsons, Mitchell Krone and Ryan Krone and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Caley House and Triniti Hospice for their kindness and care.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 7pm at Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapel located at 13745 Reimer Dr, Maple Grove, MN 55311. Visitation one hour prior to service.
