As promised by her loving husband Ray, who left this earthly life Nov. 27, 2016, Arley passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side. Arley was born to Harvey and Mary Lynde in Faulkton, South Dakota. She was the middle child with two big sisters Margie and Bonnie, her little sister Jo and baby brother Duane (Butch) all who have preceded her in death. Mom was always enterprising. Starting at age ten she babysat, and ironed to earn her own money. At age fifteen she worked as a carhop at the local Drive-In in Billings Montana. When a Junior in High School, she quit school to work full time as a billing clerk for a local Auto Dealer. At the age of 18 her true love story began when she visited a friend in Miles City, Montana, where a cousin of Ray's, introduced them on Thanksgiving Eve, 1944. Then just a short 42 days later, they married on Feb. 4, 1945 and she had a lifetime of loving pet names from Dad, "Mrs. D," "Mama," and "My Bride." The Winters in Montana were so cold for dad who was working on the Railroad. They decided to visit California to pick fruit. They put all their belongings in storage, and lived in a tent using Apple crates for furniture. They returned briefly to Miles City, where their first child Mike was born. Just six weeks later they moved to Washington where they continued growing their family, adding Pat, Mindy, Peg, Mark, Mitch and Megan. Mom's next major accomplishment was assisting Dad in creating their livelihood with their business, Everett Builder's Inc. They were fortunate to retire very young traveling the world golfing and wine tasting as well as spending 30 years wintering in Yuma, AZ. Arley is survived by her children: Mike (Diane), Pat (Danny) Mann, Mindy, Peg (Arven - deceased) Wold, Mark (Connie), Mitchell (Kelly) and Megan Moss, 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren with 2 more on the way. God has gained a beautiful classy Angel, allowing her to live in all of eternity with her true love. Services will be held at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. Macleod Ave, Arlington on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, with viewing from 10:00am to 12:00pm and service starting at 12:00pm.
