Antonio Omar Howell known aka “Tony” was born Nov. 1, 1982, in Rowan County, to Linda Elder (mother) and Charlie Howell, Jr. (father). Antonio unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on July 12, 2022, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center, Salisbury. Tony was a graduate of Salisbury High School, Salisbury. He was formerly employee at Food Lion Warehouse, Burger King, Salisbury, Canada Dry, Landover, Md., Smithfield Plant, Capitol Heights, Md. Left to cherish his loving memory are, mother, Linda Elder of Salisbury; father, Charlie Howell, Jr. (Darla) of Monroe; brothers, Charlie Howell, III (Vai) of Rocky Mount, Carlos Elder of Salisbury, Jamar Howell of Salisbury, Micah Howell, Malachi Howell and Maverick Howell of Monroe; sisters, Lawanda McCloud (Donald) of Belhaven, Faith Coward (Rodney) of Salisbury; aunts, Sheryl Peterson of Landover, Md., and Mary Cherry (Ronnie) of Plymouth; uncle, John Peterson (Beverly) of Salisbury; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends. Arrangements: Funeral Services Sunday July 24, at 2:30 p.m. at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, family will receive friends one hour prior to service and public viewing will be Saturday 12- 3 p.m. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Howell/Peterson family.
