Annie Wilhelm, 95, went to be with her Lord on April 21, 2021, she was surrounded by her loving family. Annie was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 1, 1926, to Margaret and Pete Bruno. She resided in Beaumont then later moved to Vidor.
Annie graduated from Beaumont High School then went to Mims Beauty School in Port Arthur, Texas. She rode a bus to Port Arthur every day to attend beauty school. Annie was a beautician most of her life, until she finally retired and moved to Vidor, Texas. There she started working at several of the Country Pantry drive in grocery stores. She received several Country Pantry awards for Manager of the month.
Annie loved her Dallas Cowboys and never missed a game. She also loved to watch the Vidor Pirate High School football teams every year, she was a loyal fan. She never wanted to miss any of the football games. Her son, Steve Bagley, would take her to all the home games and some out of town games.
Annie is survived by her daughter, Margaret Ann Daniels Fox of Silsbee; her sons, Roy Wilhelm and Steve Bagley; her grandchildren, Michael Fox and wife Tishia, Ronnie Fox and wife Dawn, Eddie Laughlin, Michael Allen Jr. and wife Jessica, Annie and Shelbee Wilhelm, Courtney Blanchard, and Brandon Wright; her great-grandchildren, Corey Fox, Paige Laughlin, Blake Laughlin, Luke Laughlin, Mackenzi, Claire, Caleb, and Quinn Allen, Natalye Azalie, Michelle, and Lily Allen; her great-great-grandchildren, Kayla, Patience, and Kourtney Fox; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Annie was preceded in death by Daniel Wilhelm; her daughter, Mary Nell Daniels Allen; her daughter-in-law, Marie Bagley; her sisters, Katie Bruno Fazio and Josephine Bruno Busceme; her brothers, Paul and Mike Bruno; and her parents.
A rosary will be at 10:00AM on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 and services after at the Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S Main St. Lumberton, TX 77657 with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine St. Beaumont, TX 77703 under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
Her family extends many thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice, Jeana Allen, and Dr. Anwar for all the care she was given through hospice, and also all the loving staff of nurses, and nurses' aids at Village Creek Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Lumberton, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Fox, Ronnie Fox, Eddie Laughlin, Mike Allen r., Blake Laughlin, and Corey Fox.
