Memorial Services for Mrs. Annette Corley Hart, 82, who entered into rest June 7, 2022, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 4 until 5 o'clock.
Mrs. Hart was born on February 3, 1940, to the late Felder and Cora Smith Toole. She was a native of Langley, SC and has made North Augusta, SC her home for the past 50 years. Mrs. Hart attended Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene and retired as a salesperson from Kick 99 Radio Station after 20 years in the communications profession. She was actively involved in the community, most notably for her service in the local Lions Clubs. Mrs. Hart was member of the Aiken Lions Club, a founding member of the Aiken Mid-day Lions Club, she served president of the Lions Vision Services board, and was a past-Governor of the South Carolina State Lions Club. She was also a member of the North Augusta Red Hat Society. Mrs. Hart will be fondly remembered as the matriarch of her family and for having a servant's heart. She enjoyed nothing more than family gatherings and traveling with her late husband, Jack Hart. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lynwood, Laverne, Gerald, and Mike Toole.
Survivors include her children, Richard Corley (Tanera) of Chicago, IL, Veronica Cash (Jeff) of Sufflok, VA, Lisa Covington, and Carrie Hart-Carns, both of North Augusta, SC; two brothers, Donald Toole (Shirley) and Ronald Toole (Toni), both of North Augusta, SC; a sister, Joyce Jackson (Dennis) of North Augusta, SC; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of North Augusta Red Hat Society.
