Anne Merrill Pickard, 85, joined her beloved husband Stuart, her sisters and parents in heaven on March 28, 2021 following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. She is survived by her three children, Rachel, Rebecca and Marc, seven grandchildren, and one great grandson.
She passed peacefully at her family farm in Goffstown following a family gathering honoring her life and her oldest daughter's birthday. She passed with her daughter Becky, her cat, and Becky's partner George at her side.
Anne was born October 13, 1935 in Goffstown,NH and graduated from Goffstown High School in 1953. She greatly enjoyed planning and attending annual reunions with her high school classmates. She attended the University of New Hampshire and McGill University in Toronto, Canada.
Anne was a French/English teacher for many years. She met her husband Stuart in Woodbury Ct where she taught at the High School. She retired in 1999 after 20 years of teaching for the Merrimack Valley School District in Penacook, NH.
Anne's favorite activities were baking cookies with her grandchildren, and travelling with her family and best friends Linda, Margaret and Betty. She loved her gardens and flowers.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday April 9 from 10am to 12pm at the French and Rising Funeral Home 17 S. Mast Street Goffstown, NH with a graveside service at 12:30pm at the Westlawn Cemetery in Goffstown, NH followed by an outdoor gathering at the family farm.
