Anne M. Richardson, 88, of Bristol, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Greenleaf Health Campus, with her loving family at her side. Anne was born in Elkhart on October 8, 1929 to the late Joseph and Concetta (Ianigro) Lisi. She married Robert K. "Bob" Richardson on September 19, 1953 at St. Vincent's. Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Robert; 2 daughters, Cathy DeGroote, Karen Carden; 7 loving grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ted Lese and John Lisi. In addition to her parents, a daughter Lori Linn Patton and brother Tony Lisi preceded Anne in death.
Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandma and homemaker. She worked at CTS for a total of 17 years and was a child care provider for 15 years. Anne was a 1948 graduate of Elkhart High School and remained close friends with many classmates. She was a former member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church where she was a member of the rosary society and helped with the funeral dinners. She was a member of St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church where she taught CCD classes.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2018 at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, in Bristol, with visitation 1 hour prior. Rev. Robert "Bob" VanKempen will officiate. A luncheon will be served immediately following the mass. Burial and graveside services will then take place at St. Vincent Cemetery in Elkhart. The family kindly suggests memorials may be given to the church.
