Anne Marie Kudzma, 82, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024, at Bay Harbor Post Acute Care in Salisbury, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James U. and Marie Oliff.
Following graduation from the Catholic Girls High School in Baltimore, MD, Anne relocated to Salisbury with her high school sweetheart, the late David Kudzma. Her dedication to education and service shone through her long-standing role as an administrative assistant to the vice president at Wor-Wic Community College, where she worked for over thirty years. She and her husband were also devoted parishioners of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury and loved attending church together.
A proud Irish-American, Anne's eyes sparkled at the mention of Ireland. Her travels abroad were among her most cherished memories, and she embraced her Irish heritage with joy and pride. She was content doing anything as long as friends and family were by her side. Above all else, she was a devoted wife, mother, and Mom-Mom, who will be missed dearly by all who loved her.
She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Jennifer Kudzma-Stack of Salisbury, MD, and her son, David S. Kudzma, and his wife, Katherine, of Millsboro, DE, Mom-Mom to her two grandsons, Jacob Stack and Simon J. Kudzma, sister to James Oliff (Joyce) of Alexandria, VA, and sister-in-law to Nancy Reichenberg of Catonsville, MD, and an aunt to several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 57 years, David Kudzma.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 11am at St. Francis de Sales, 535 Riverside Drive, where friends may call an hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park.
