Anne Christian (Griffith) Disch, of Highland Lakes in Leesburg, Florida, passed away peacefully, Wednesday evening, November 23, 2022, at the age of 84, while surrounded by those she loved dearly. She was born April 5, 1938 in Wyandotte, where she remained until her adult years.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald H. Disch, daughters Catherine Gandee (Sonny) and Barbara Moroski-Browne, her son Craig Reifsnider, step-daughters Debra Eskew (John) and Sherry Moody (Dave). She was grandmother to 15 and great-grandmother to 30.
She was predeceased by her son, Mark Reifsnider, father, Joseph J. Griffith Jr. and her mother, Catherine (Challenger) Griffith.
Anne led a very full and active life while living in Highland Lakes. She was on many committees, served as President, sang in two choirs within the community, she was an avid Mahjong player, played Euchre every other Thursday, was a regular for Friday night Bingo games and proudly sang with her church choir at St. James Episcopal Church, in Leesburg, Florida.
Anne was very loved by all she knew, but none greater than her family and close friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Church Service at St. James Episcopal Church, located at 204 Lee Street, Leesburg, FL 34748 on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 at 11:00am. There will a small luncheon immediately following the church service in the reception hall.
