Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, of Westerleigh Ann Marie Cardella, 74, Westerleigh resident, passed peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on November 29, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY, to Jennie (Capone) and Salvatore J. Crimi, the older of two children. She was a graduate of Seward Park HS. Anna worked as a pharmacy technician secretary at Memorial Sloane Kettering. She was a homemaker for her loving family. In 1971, she married Michael Cardella Jr. They had been married for 51 years. They have three children: daughter, Michele and husband, Brian Biggs; a son, Michael Cardella and wife, Barbara, and a son, Frank. Anna will be missed dearly by her grandchildren, Brianna, Joseph, Mia, Matthew, Emily, Lily, and Ada. She also leaves behind her loving brother, Jerome Crimi Sr., as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Salvatore J. Crimi. Anna loved bowling, bingo, playing cards, going to Atlantic City, gardening, sitting in the sun and being with her loving family. She was a parishioner at Holy Family Church. Visitation days will be Saturday, July 23rd, from 3-5 PM & 7-9 PM, and Sunday, July 24th from 2-6 PM. Funeral is 12 noon, Monday, July 25th, from Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave., SI, to Holy Family Church. Interment to follow at Ocean View Cemetery.
