Ann Oldham Baughman, age 89, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2021. She was born July 20, 1932 to Jesse and Martha (Bransford) Oldham. She graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1950.
In 1961, she married James O. Baughman (Jim), who preceded her in death. Prior to their marriage, she worked at Link-Belt.
Ann was a loving mother, devoted wife, and proud grandmother. A homemaker, she enjoyed sewing, reading, and the many travels she embarked on with Jim. In her younger years, she was active in the Eastern Star. She served as Secretary of the West Newton Cemetery for many years. After moving to Johnson County, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin, Indiana; previously, she was a member of West Newton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her two children, Jane (Michael) Parker, and Jon Baughman; six grandchildren, Daniel (Katie) Beasley, Clare Parker, Seth Parker, Samantha Baughman, Alex Baughman, and George Baughman; one great-grandchild, Andrew Beasley.
