Ann Marie Krausz (nee Hemelt), of Dundalk, passed away on June 12, 2021 in her home after a short battle with colon cancer. She was 89 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Earl Kenneth Krausz. She is survived by her 4 children, Kenneth (Crissy), Karen Viers (Steve), Kurt (Karen), Kristopher (Lori). She was a loving grandmother of ten, and cherished great grandmother of six.
Born in Highlandtown, Ann graduated from Patterson Park High School. After marriage in 1954, she moved to Dundalk. While raising 4 children, Ann worked for the Toll Facilities Administration (Key Bridge) as a secretary for more than 19 years. After retirement, she remained active by traveling, volunteering at Our Lady of Hope Church functions, and volunteering at the Maryland Science Center (for more than 25 years).
She was a member of the Edgemere Senior Center where she enjoyed shuffleboard and playing cards. Ann believed the key to happiness was helping other people. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed frequent family get togethers. She was a member of the Dundalk Flower Club, and enjoyed maintaining the gardens at the Edgemere Senior Center.
Friends and family may call at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk on Thursday, June 17 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 18 at 10:15 AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Dundalk. Interment at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
