Ann Gaul Born: December 26, 1938 in Savannah, GA Died: May 28, 2022 in Crystal Lake, IL Ann Fraps Gaul, 83, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2022. She was born in Savannah, GA on December 26, 1938, to Arthur George and Leona Michel Fraps. A beautiful lady, both inside and out, Ann had a true mother's heart. She was loving, kind, patient, and humble and had the warmest, most joyful smile. Her family would all agree she was the best mother in the world. Her memory will live on through her husband of 58 years, Don H. Gaul, Sr.; children, Leah (David) Magnine, of Amery WI, Paige (Bob) Hannon, of Franklin MA, Whitney (David) Susoreny, of Watersmeet, MI, Alison (Phil) VanGorden, of Belgrade MT, Regan (Matt) Daniels, of Marietta GA, and Don (Christina) Gaul, of Milton DE; grandchildren, Nathan, Jessica, Morgan, Elizabeth, Heather, Kathleen, Josh, Maddie, Allie, Dani, and Benjamin; great grandchildren, Aiden and Alex; and her brother, Arthur Fraps, Jr. Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Fraps Leech. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, from 4pm until 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL . A catholic mass will be on Saturday, June 25, at 10:30 am following a visitation at 9:30 am at The Church of the Holy Apostles, 5211 Bull Valley Rd., McHenry, IL 60050 with inurnment to follow in the church's columbarium.
