Anita Beth Bakst (n?e Cutler), 77, of Pittsfield, passed away July 4, 2022. Born in Glens Falls, New York, November 5, 1944, Anita was a graduate of the Ohio State University and worked until retirement as a special needs teacher at Lenox Memorial High School. Beloved mother of one, grandmother of seven, she was surrounded by joy: at her puzzle table, watching her birds with her hot coffee, tea parties, watching Jeopardy, and sitting by the ocean on the coast of Maine. Beloved sister, cousin and friend, Anita was surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Esther Cutler, and sister, Lynne Cutler. She is survived by brother Bruce Cutler, and wife Linda, of Naples, Florida; daughter, Simone Hamrick, and husband Wes, of Mansfield, Connecticut; and grandchildren Gavin, Kate, Clara, James, Rory, Declan, and Mary.
