Ms. Angie Tompkins Harden, 46, died Friday, August 11, 2023, at her home.
Angie was born on August 10, 1977 in Sylvester, Georgia. Angie is the daughter of retired Sheriff Freddie Tompkins and Peggy Odom Tompkins. She was living in Orlando, Florida and was formerly from Worth County. Angie worked very hard for her nursing degree and was a nurse practitioner. She had worked at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA, Advent Health, Winter Garden, Florida, Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Leesburg, Florida, and Advent Health Orlando at hematology/oncology as a APRN. Angie was a 1995 graduate at Worth County High School. She attended Darton College in Albany, Ga, Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences, South University MSN. Angie enjoyed the beach, sunsets and hanging out with her family and friends. She loved her family and spending time with her children. She enjoyed time with her Daddy on the farm.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her children Hannah Cain (Chris), Colin Harden, II, Blake Harden and her best friend Colin Harden, I. She is also survived by brother Mickie Tompkins (Angela) of Tifton, Georgia, her fur baby Olive Rose, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Per her wishes she will be cremated.
A visitation from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM and celebration of life at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 26, 2023, will be held at Banks Funeral Home Chapel located at 210 North Main Street Sylvester, Georgia. 31791.
