Angeline Veronica )Brunkenhoefer) Dullye, 81, of Shiner, Texas passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at her home with her loving husband by her side.
Funeral services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas and will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Dr. Martin Luther Lutheran Church with Reverend Chris Heinold officiating. A public visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 pm.
Angeline was born July 30, 1937 in Moulton, Texas. She was the daughter of Walter and Elsa (Gerloff) Brunkenhoefer. Angeline graduated from high school in 1955 as class Valedictorian. She married Charles Dullye on August 7, 1955 at the Dr. Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Shiner, Texas. She worked for USAA in San Antonio as a file clerk and within 3 1/2 years was promoted to supervisor. Upon moving back to Moulton, she worked for the Yoakum ISD and later as a receptionist at a dental practice in Shiner. Angeline was a charter member of the Pilot Club in Shiner. She was a dedicated member of her church serving as the secretary of WELCA, Chairperson of the Memorial Committee, Chairperson of the Social Concerns Committee, and a counsel member for the Budget Committee. She liked playing Canasta and was very patient with partners new to the game. She enjoyed playing dominos, tackling jigsaw puzzles, and reading, especially Janet Evanovich novels. Angeline's talents included needlepoint, quilting, knitting, and making beautiful personalized Christmas stockings for her family. Angeline loved her family and especially enjoyed playing with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
Angeline is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Charles Dullye, two sons; Gary Dullye and his wife Darla of Port O'Conner, Texas and Bryan Dullye and his wife Vicki of Trophy Club, Texas, three sisters; Allyne Albrecht of Shiner, Texas, Evelyn Brosh of Shiner, Texas, and Darlene Jahn of Shiner, Texas; three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Elsa Brunkenhoefer, and two sisters; Gladys Walleck and Bernice Kocian.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Dullye will be Andy Brosh, Mike Brosh, Patrick Brosh, Keith Jahn, Daniel Smith and Jimmy Welfel.
