Angelica G. Gonzalez

Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Angelica G. "Mere" Gonzalez peacefully entered eternal rest on June 30, 2021, at the age of 93. She was born in Mc Allen, Texas on May 15, 1928 to Gumercindo, Jr. and Guadalupe Gomez.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Miguel B. Gonzalez. She is survived by her loving children, Elva N. Garcia (Ricardo N.) and Jaime A. Gonzalez ( Sylvia O.); Four Grandchildren, Olica Marie, Miguel Angel Jr., Ricardo Noe Jr., and Max Adrian; Five Great Granddaughters, Trinity, Amberly, Alexia, Katy and Ally, Siblings; Irma A. Castorina and Gumercindo Carlos Gomez Jr., along with numerous loving relatives and friends.

Angelica was a kind, generous, unconditionally loving human being. She was always giving to her family and friends and expected nothing in return. She was a comforting spirit to those who knew and loved her. She was there for her grandchildren & great granddaughters school functions, football games, school competitions, recitals and all the family gatherings. She had a long, healthy, busy life. She loved sewing, making flower arrangements and wreaths, making jewelry and also making the rounds of craft shows selling her arts and crafts till her late 80s. She enjoyed driving her Toyota Camry till her early 90s. She will forever be missed by all those that knew and loved her. We are not saying goodbye but instead we will say Thank You. We thank our Lord's blessing for the privilege of being in our lives and being loved by you. Thank you for your examples you instilled in us of life's journey.

A Memorial Service will be held at Castle Ridge Mortuary (8008 Military Dr. W., SATX, 78227) on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
