Angela "Angie" Michelle Bertrand Coleman, 60, of Acworth died Wednesday, July 10, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.
Angela Michelle Bertrand was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on November 22, 1963, to Dr. John Avery Bertrand and Ella Mae Simar. She spent her childhood in Crowley, Louisiana and went on to attend Crowley High School and later the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now UL). In 1992, she moved to Georgia and soon after met her soulmate Ron Coleman, Jr.
Angie was fiercely loyal and protective over those she loved and was a nurturing and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
Angie Bertrand Coleman is survived by her husband of 31 years Ronald Lane Coleman, Jr., son Ronald Lane Coleman, III of Acworth, daughters Anna Michelle Coleman of Atlanta and Victoria Lane Coleman of Navarre, Florida, daughter of her heart Reagan Lynne Bunch of Atlanta, sisters Linda Gail Bertrand Lambert (Johnny) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Darlene Frances Bertrand Veillon of Hayes, Louisiana, and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends whom she treasured and loved dearly.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Dr. John Avery Bertrand and Mrs. Ella Simar Bertrand, brother Ronald Joseph Bertrand, and brother-in-law Eddie D. Veillon, Sr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23 at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley, Louisiana beginning at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Crowley at 2 p.m. Georgia Funeral Care, Acworth, GA, in charge of arrangements.
