A memorial service for Mr. Andy Gale Enis of Kilmichael, formerly of Baldwyn, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, at Kilmichael Baptist Church, with burial following in the North Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kilmichael. Pastor Dale Sorgen will officiate the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Enis, Jay Enis, Ryan Enis, Mark Enis, Josh Enis, and the Deacon Body of Kilmichael Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 11, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Kilmichael Baptist Church.
Andy Gale Enis, 76, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence in Kilmichael on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. He was born to Phillip and Alice Rhinehart Enis in Booneville, MS on May 7, 1948. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Mississippi State University and was a retired accountant for the VA Hospital. He was a United States Marine Vietnam veteran who loved his country. Mr. Enis was multi-talented and a "jack of all trades" who dabbled in several different areas, such as: farming, carpentry, machinery, and welding. He could fix anything and enjoyed working and hunting. He was also a member of The Lions Club and the Montgomery County Forestry Association, as he was a tree farmer. He was a very active member and deacon of Kilmichael Baptist Church, who loved the Lord. He served his church in many ways, such as: Sunday School Director, AWANA, and a member of several committees.
Mr. Enis is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah Lee Enis of Kilmichael; son, Brian Enis (Allie) of Brandon; three grandchildren, Reagan Enis, Fisher Enis, and Gunner Enis; three brothers, Jerry Enis (Jean) of Tupelo, Fred Enis of Ripley, and Bill Enis (Phyllis) of Columbus; and host of nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Lola Enis.
