Andrew Taylor Ford, 36, passed away on October 3, 2022, at his home in San Antonio. A private gravesite service was held on Friday, October 7, at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco.
With his broad smile, infectious laugh and energetic personality, Andrew was a friend to everyone. He was always there for friends in need. Andrew faced setbacks in life with courage and determination and came back from each stronger than before.
Andrew was born and raised in Highland Park, Texas, and graduated from Highland Park High School. Growing up he played baseball, basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. He loved all things outdoors-especially hunting at the family ranch, fishing, and jet skiing. Andrew was a fitness enthusiast who often coached others to improve their fitness. He was a passionate fan of professional football. For the last five years, Andrew worked with his cousin in the roofing business, and, at the time of his death, he was a manager for DeBakey Roofing.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert E. Ford.
Survivors include his parents, Jeffrey and Vicki Ford; brother, Bennett Ford and wife, Lauren Smith-Ford; nieces, Ellie, Greta, and Lila; grandmother, Arlis Ford; grandparents, Dick and Tootsie Taylor; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Andrew's extended family and friends are invited to participate in a celebration of Andrew's life on Sunday, November 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the South Congress Hotel, 1603 South Congress Ave, Austin, Texas.
