Amy Davis Williams, of Greensboro, NC, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 10th at East Carolina Health Center in Greenville, NC, with her mother at her side.
Amy was born in Ft. Huachuca, AZ on January 26, 1971 to the late Dr. Corbin O. Williams and Sandra W. Williams. Amy grew up in Hendersonville, NC. She graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1989. She then entered UNCC where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Amy graduated with a bachelor's degree. Her career in Greensboro was with Marsh McLellan as an Employee Benefits Account Manager.
Amy was sunshine! She made life brighter for all who knew her. Her friends, their dogs, and her dogs were a central focus. She was a friend gatherer, a friend keeper, and a trusted soulmate.
Amy leaves behind her mother, Sandy; her beloved sister, Tracy Stevens; her nephew, Zack; and niece, Lily. She also leaves a myriad of friends who were more like family than friends.
Following a private interment, a celebration of life will be held in Stillwell Hall at St. James Episcopal Church in Hendersonville, NC at 3pm on Saturday, July 23rd.
A celebration will be held in Greensboro at a later date.
