Amy Rebecca (Shultz) Svirso, 46, of Somerset, died December 21, 2021 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born November 14, 1975 in Philadelphia, she is the daughter of Harold T. and Alice F. (Burd) Shultz. Preceded in death by her father. Survived by her mother of Somerset, husband George S. Svirsko Jr. to whom she was married 18 months, her son Thomas Guy Shultz of Somerset, and sister Leanne Silvis and husband Ryan of Ashland, OH. Amy was a 1994 graduate of Greater Latrobe High School, and a graduate of Penn State University. She was working in the administrative department for Westmoreland Mechanical & Technical Research. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday with Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli officiating.
