Amy Lynn (Kenter) Shidler (51) died April 14 at Community Hospital South after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Kenter, and by her younger sister, Michelle (Kenter) Hoffman. She is survived by her mother, Jane (Pierle) Kenter, her husband, Matthew Shidler, and her sons, Jacob Watkins and Max Shidler, as well as her brother-in-law Jeff Hoffman, and her nieces, Parker and Mya Hoffman.
Amy was a graduate of Center Grove High School, and a Greenwood native. Due to the ongoing quarantine, the family is forgoing a memorial service at this time. A Celebration of Life gathering for Amy will be held at some point in the future. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that any donations be made on her behalf to the ASPCA or the Johnson County Animal Shelter.
